Treatments and hair transplant at all Italian clinics
The two Italian clinics follow the same protocol and offer the same services, from treatments that protect and support the hair you already have to hair transplants.
Transplant with the Insparya Method® and BotHair UltraPlus®
The transplant is carried out with the Insparya Method®, which incorporates our proprietary BotHair UltraPlus® technology to automate some steps. Follicular units are taken from the donor area with the FUE technique and implanted in the thinning areas, following the natural direction and angle, under local anesthesia. Hair transplant without shaving
It can be done in a partial form, trimming a single area that the surrounding hair covers. In most cases, however, the donor area is shaved; the choice is up to the doctor.

Are there medications to counter hair loss?
Yes, for some forms of hair loss medications exist, but they must be prescribed by a doctor after the diagnosis, because the choice depends on the cause, your age and your medical history. During the visit the doctor assesses whether they are needed, on their own or together with treatments such as MesoHAir+ or ActivePlasma.
What is the right age for a hair transplant?
There is no single age for everyone: a transplant can be performed from age 18, and in men it is most often done between 30 and 40, when alopecia tends to stabilize. The doctor assesses the right moment with the diagnosis.

Who is not eligible for a hair transplant?
The diagnosis decides, not a general rule. The doctor checks whether the donor area has enough hair of good quality, what stage the alopecia is at and whether your clinical condition allows the procedure; when the answer is no, or not yet, they propose other solutions.
How many years does a hair transplant last?
There is no fixed expiry. Implanted follicles keep the resistance to hair loss typical of the donor area, so they tend to last; the native hair around them can instead thin over the years and, if needed, the doctor proposes maintenance treatments. The first hairs appear after 3-4 months, and the full result arrives between 12 and 18 months.

How much does a hair transplant cost in Italy?
It depends on the patient: the area to treat, the number of follicular units, the technique and the condition of the donor area change from person to person. The quote is therefore defined after the medical diagnosis, which at the first visit is free.
How much does an artificial hair transplant cost in Italy?
Insparya does not work with artificial hair: a transplant is always done with the patient’s own hair, taken from their donor area, and for this reason there is no risk of rejection. They are different procedures and the costs cannot be compared.
