What is a hair transplant?

A Hair transplant is a meticulous procedure in which bald areas can be restored by extracting the follicular units from the donor area (which is the area that maintains the highest hair density – lateral and occipital areas of the head) and implanting them in the areas affected by alopecia (which are usually the front and upper part of the head). Hair transplantation stands out as the foremost definitive solution for androgenetic alopecia, the most prevalent form of this condition.

At Insparya Group’s hair transplant centres in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Oman, we boast a highly experienced hair implantation medical team, supported by specialised nurses, who are trained by us at our Insparya Academy.

We employ our own technique, the Insparya Method, a safe, effective and innovative hair transplant method, based on the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) methodology, improved by our exclusive technology, BotHair Ultraplus Insparya.

With the Insparya Method, a hair transplant is performed in two phases: in the first phase, the follicular units are extracted, aspirated and stored (all in one step) from the donor area and later, in the second phase, they are implanted in the hairless areas, using our multi-implanter, a component of the BotHair UltraPlus Insparya, ensuring a natural result.

Benefits of BotHair UltraPlus®

Shorter procedure time. The procedure is expedited by consolidating various transplant stages: Extraction and aspiration of the follicular units are combined, with the FU (Follicular Units) taken directly to the preservation solution storage.

 

Reducing damage to the FUs during extraction. By minimizing the handling of the FUs, we reduce the risk of trauma and damage during the extraction stage.

A higher survival rate of hair follicles. Decreased handling leads to a greater percentage of viable FUs and improved overall quality of those extracted.

An automated process that’s more comfortable for the team. This advancement not only improves procedural quality but also enhances ergonomic conditions for our medical team , therefore reducing, for instance, the number of movements during implantation from 4,000 to 160 on average, significantly lowering the risk of injuries.
