Do I have to stop drinking alcohol and smoking before a hair transplant?
  • To avoid complications in the event of any bleeding, it is advisable to avoid alcohol consumption also a few days before any surgical intervention. Although it is a surgery that only requires local anesthesia, for hair grafting it is advisable to stop smoking at least a week or two beforehand.
Are there different transplant techniques?

What does a hair transplant consist of?

When can the shedding effect appear after a hair transplant and how long does it last?

When to cut and style the hair for the first time after a graft?
  • It is recommended to wait at least a month for the first haircut. 3 months you have to avoid razors and blades, because they can damage the scalp and even pull out a follicle. After the first 6 months, the hair will be strong and consolidated enough for you to brush it safely.
Is it necessary to take any drug for life to maintain the transplanted hair?
  • No, because it is a hair genetically predisposed not to fall out.
When will the results be seen?
